Just a small life-update to all of you folks out there

I have come back from my very first trip to the USA, applied for university and an apartment and finally got myself a job! Please congratulate me. If anything will allow me, I'll soon be moving to a much bigger city, living, studying and evolving by myself. Trying to convince myself that I'm doing the right thing; that I'm finally doing something useful with my life and getting off the good old treadmill. Completely different from what I've been doing the last 21 years. Or not? Well ... C'est la vie.

Current favorite movie: "Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day" (witty and peculiar little thing worth seeing).

Current favorite song: "Anything Goes" by Lew Stone and His Band (partly because of the above movie).

Oh and by the way, New York City was AMAZING! I walked the footsteps of my icons! Do yourself the impeccable honour and go visit the city yourself. You won't regret it, believe me! Just make sure you have the money to do it the right way.

Please continue with your wonderful mania concerning classic movies and report to me when we have won the battle.

PS. We actually came across two sailors when we were up there - at the top of The Rock. They looked like they had just tapdanced round the corner to us, reminding me that I had to rewatch "On The Town" when I'd come home. We even got a picture together with them with The Empire State Building as background! God, I couldn't stop giggling of joy the rest of that day ;)
